Our Team

Abe Chera, CASAC

Director

Abe Chera is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and a certified, licensed recovery coach with over nine years of clinical experience and more than a decade in coaching and communication. He runs a successful private coaching practice and brings insight and steady guidance that helps individuals approach decisions with clarity, accountability, and purpose.

Isaac E. Ashkenazi

Albert Beyda

Albert Beyda brings deep experience in community service and organizational leadership through years of hands-on involvement in mission-driven work. Since 2018, he has spearheaded special community projects and consistently led annual drives for organizations, including Sephardic Bikur Holim and UJA. He is guided by the strong belief that Aleph has the power to transform the community.

Nachman Assoulin

Nachman Assoulin draws on his experience to support individuals through meaningful connection and insight. Named after Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, he is inspired by those teachings and has founded multiple nonprofit organizations, including the Makor Haim Center, the Sephardic Breslov Center, Congregation Zvi Lazadeek, and a synagogue in Uman, Ukraine.

Isaac is driven by the belief that lived experiences carry responsibility — that both positive and difficult life events are blessings meant to guide not only oneself, but especially others. The vision centers on helping individuals refine their perspectives and experiences through the development of meaningful skills. Now - through Aleph, those skills can be cultivated into effective mentorship that strengthens everyone involved. He is committed to fostering unity while honoring the individual, creating environments where people thrive and crises are prevented through deep connection.

Alice Chera is a certified professional life coach, executive coach, speaker, and discussion facilitator in practice since 2008. Her work includes private coaching, consulting, adult education, career path and personal development programs for a leading Fortune 500 global bank. She leads coaching workshops focused on resilience, stress management, and personal growth.

Bringing over 10 years of experience in social media marketing, branding, and strategic communications, Lindsey leads Aleph’s brand and advertising strategy. Through thoughtful storytelling and strategic outreach, she helps ensure the organization’s messaging remains clear, credible, and rooted in meaningful community impact.
